Following direct negotiations with the client (Andrew Forrest Properties), we were as the main contractor to undertake this work on their behalf.
The client required us to construct a new build 15,000 Sq./Ft warehouse (steel framed building) with a 5,000 Sq./Ft mezzanine floor, with associated offices and toilets including a large 40,000 Sq./Ft concrete yard complete with parking.
We project managed the project, and co-ordinated all materials and labour that was required. This project would see us utilising a mix of our own direct labour and where necessary, also supplementing this with additional sub-contractors.
The Client Brief
The works involved the construction of a steel framed structure with a mezzanine floor area.
Due to poor ground conditions concrete driven piles were required under the building and to an area of concrete yard expected to have high loads.

Our aim when undertaking work of this nature on behalf of a client is to always provide our client with a 1st class service, that matches the design specification, as laid out in the project plans.
We are able to draw on years of collective project management experience in the construction sector, which helps ensure that we effectively plan and manage ‘new builds’ works on behalf of a client.
We managed all the necessary works pertaining to this contract and ensured the smooth flow of materials that were needed to meet the required timescales for the refurbishment works.
All sub-contractors are all personally vetted by us, to ensure that any work they undertake on our behalf is completed to the same high standards that we have built our reputation on over the years.
This particular project saw us bring together our own direct labour and a wide variety of specialist sub-contractors in order to ensure that we successfully handed back the completed job to the client on time and on budget.

For this project a great deal of close co-ordination with the client was required, as well as liaising with the end user to facilitate their direct fit-out works to ensure a very successful project completion.
It was important that this work was not only done as quickly as possible, but was also done to an extremely high standard and that the disruption faced by the end client was kept to a minimum. We pride ourselves on our communication skills and ensured that our client was kept fully informed at all times as to what stage their project was at and how the works were progressing.
We are pleased to say that due to the care and attention we put into this project, the client was extremely satisfied with the completed project.
